About Standard

Standard Neon Supply Company was founded in 1934 by G. Roger Louys. Mr. Louys owned and operated the business until his retirement in 1973. Roger's son Paul joined the company in 1958 and has served as President and Vice President. He remains active in the company to this date. David Louys joined the company in 1973. After working in the aviation insurance profession for a number of years, David returned to Standard in 1991 and today serves as President of the company.

Standard Neon Supply Company operated for over 45 years on North Broadway in downtown St. Louis.

In order to better reflect the diversity of products and services we offer, the company changed its trade name to Standard in 1996. Also, in order to gain more warehouse space and operate from a more modern facility, Standard moved to the Westport area in 1997.

We offer a full range of name brand sign supplies and equipment, including vinyl cutters, digital printers and computerized routers to the sign industry.

We provide delivery, installation and training with all equipment and software that we sell. We also offer delivery of materials on a daily basis in the St. Louis metropolitan area and weekly on designated routes throughout our service territory.
